With the new testo 860i, Testo presents an innovative, pocket size, wireless thermal imager for smartphones that has been specially developed for fast and precise spot checks.
The testo 860i is the ideal solution for heating, air conditioning and refrigeration technicians, facility maintenance and building services specialists and for numerous other areas of application. Thanks to its ease of use, razor-sharp thermal images and seamless integration into the testo Smart App, it offers high efficiency and flexibility in the thermal inspection of technical systems, VAC components and building features such as windows, doors and walls.
Fast and precise measurements for a wide range of applications
With the testo 860i, temperature differences (Delta T), heat sources (hotspots) and humidity can be determined quickly and reliably directly in the thermal image. Together with the testo Smart App, the imager offers a wide range of practical measurement programs that make everyday work much easier:
- Delta Heat: Enables quick determination of the temperature spread of flow and return temperatures on radiators and provides optimization tips.
- Delta Cool: Determines the differential temperature on refrigeration and air conditioning systems step by step.
- Thermal Profiling: Quickly detects hotspots and heat development – ideal for preventive maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems and for identifying hidden defects such as leaks, overheating, damages, heat loss etc.
- Humidity mode: Visualizes damp spots on walls, ceilings and corners and enables simple assessment of the risk of mould using a traffic light scale (in conjunction with the testo 605i thermo-hygrometer).
- Application areas: Build to ensure system efficiency in several areas like solar thermography, building inspection, plant maintenance, power sector, audit & compliance assurance etc.
These functions allow rapid diagnosis of problems that would otherwise remain undetected and could potentially lead to costly or dangerous follow-on damage.
Emission Analyser – testo 340
The testo 340 Emission Analyzer is a single solution for a range of applications. From burner tuning, to optimizing combustion process in boilers and furnaces, from diesel engine exhaust analysis to NOx monitoring in gas turbines, from flue gas analysis in incinerators, to measuring emissions in gas engines, you name it and the 340 can handle it.
It’s a powerful instrument yet surprisingly comes in a relatively smaller footprint. It is equipped with a maximum of 4 gas sensors, and one can select gases based on one’s needs, and applications. You can choose from O2, CO, NO, NO2, SO2, NOlow and COlow.
A wide range of modular probes can be fitted, with varying lengths of 335 to 700 mm. one can also use the heavy-duty industrial probe, where lengths of up to 3 meters are possible. These probes are made of different materials depending on the stack temperatures. Inconel is used for temperatures up to 1200 ̊ C & Aluminium Oxide is used for temperatures up to 1800 deg ̊ C.
Flue Gas Analyser – testo 350
Flue Gas Analyser – testo 350, carefully designed and crafted, keeping in mind the needs of the user, this unique instrument is matchless in performance, and engineered to perfection.
With the testo 350, up to 6 gases can be analyzed at the same time – the user can choose between the following sensors: O2, CO, CO2, NO, NO2, SO2, HC, H2S. The sensors are easily replaceable by the user in the field, within minutes, without even using any tools.
The feature packed analyzer also calculates the standard parameters like flue gas loss, excess air ratio, boiler efficiency. By connecting additional probes, the unit measures velocity, differential pressure, and temperature. With its easy on-site calibration program, which can be also done from the user, there is simply no downtime. Testo 350 is the ideal solution for Flue Gas Analysis.
The testo 350 can be equipped with a wide range of sampling probes. Special hoses of up to 5 mtrs length are also available for most accurate NO2/SO2 measurements.
The analyser has a built-in peltier cooled gas preparation unit, with a peristaltic hose pump for automatic condensate removal, for avoiding any kind of condensation and for highly accurate measuring results. Higher concentrations are no problem due to an optional dillution system, which provides a measurement range extension for all sensors.
